  1. It won't do anything. He was going to lose, he's still going to lose.

  2. Hurt him.  It's a pretty shallow choice, and it will be viewed as Dan Quayle all over again.

  3. From my point of view, McCain made a good choice.  Obama will win.

  4. I think its both. She will get some off the woman votes. But the real issue is is she capable of running the country should something happen to McCain. That i believe is a negative.

  5. Help

  6. I think it will help...

He chose a conservative who has a high approval rating and appeals to Blue collar America... I dont see this as hurting him among theGOP base.. I guess it depends on how much more money Goerge Soros and the DNC spin machine want to pay the Liberal MSM slur machine after they wake up from their hangover today.

  7. It is too early to tell, most likely help.

At the end of the day Obama just isn't going to win regardless, he just doesn't have any substance.

  8. I don't think we can say right now, we need to see how the next two weeks or so play out, but in the end the VP pick has next to nothing to do with who wins.

Sarah Palin is fantastic!! A Governor is the head of the Executive Branch just like a President is. That is why Democrats are such hypocrites and why their artguments against Palin will fail: Palin has Executive Branch experience and makes executive decisions every day. Obama does not.

They think Hillary has experience, which she does not, and they put down Palin, who DOES. Palin is a self-made woman, while Hillary rode up the ladder on her husband's back. Palin has it ALL OVER Billary.

The Republicans gave us the first black Secretary of State

The Republicans gave us the first black WOMAN Secretary of State

The Republicans gave us the first female Supreme Court Justice

The Republicans gave us an administration under Bush with the most women and minorities of any previous administration

The Republicans now give us the first woman Vice President.

  10. I would say it hurt him but I was never going to vote for him anyway...

  11. I dont think it did anything really.  It seemed like McCain seemed to want attention, more than a good running amte.  Obama picked soemone who fulfilled the things he lacked, (experience and foreign policy)  McCain picked a women with 2 years of experience as governor...thats it.  I dont think it did anything really.

  12. i think it was a fantastic choice

...she seems very confident ..a go getter .iwas for the dems but this changes my opinion

  13. I believe it helped him quite a bit.  A lot more than The Obama's choice helps him.

  14. McCain is banking on the stupidity and gullibility of the superstition oriented people in America. He is trying to draw the religious base of the conservative wacko contingent of America who want to overturn RvW, who think global warming is a conspiracy, who don't believe in evolution and want creationism taught in schools. I didn't totally dislike John McCain so much before now. Picking this con nutball reveals alot about McCain. I will puke if these people get elected.

  15. There are pros and cons to the choice of VP.

For one thing, it was reported that McCain only met Palin for the first time only 6 months ago.  I personally don't feel like that is a long enough time frame to get to know someone well enough.  It would  have been a different situation if there was a solid friendship or acquaintanceship over many years.

She does have limited experience in politics, as Obama does too.  Yet for some reason the people posting on Yahoo Answers seem to indicate that someone from Alaska is not in tune and too distant from the lower 48 states and the issues surrounding the rest of America.

Others are knocking her because of the mom issue.  Hey, I am all for working moms and advancing your career.  But if someone else is raising your child in a nanny situation, I would find her 'family-oriented' issues unbelievable.  I mean, she's NOT the one potty training her kid while in office!

Yet McCain's advisers knew it was a smart choice to put up a woman only because Obama did not.  McCain knew it was one strategic move to pull the female voters his way.  Palin will most likely speak at a lot of woman's organizations and relate to the middle-lower class female point of view voters.  Particularly working class moms.
