And that he had previously attacked her, on multiple occasions, for her "objectionable" pork spending?

  1. No she's the young rising star of Alaska who is his VP choice. A beauty queen who will be the first woman president. "Happy day's are here again."  FDR

  2. Mr. McCain and crony's never "vetted" her. He spoke with her once by phone and met her once in person. She came as complete surprise to the McCain campaign. Now ask yourself why would he do that?

  3. No, but he just forgets that we are now in the internet age and that information on any topic or person is easily available.  He was really hoping that with only 2 months to the election people would not be able to research Palin's history fast enough to draw these ties about her history.

He was hoping that he could just spin her background and history in his favor.  Now it turns out that that she has destroyed any chance he had.  The public and media are going to be focused on the treasure trove of dirt and questionable decisions by Palin from now to the election.  The election will no longer be about who is Obama it is now going to be about who is Palin.

With McCantrememberhowmanymansionIown 3 years shy of the average life expectancy for a US male the odds of Palin actually being president are much higher and she and her views need to be known to the American public.

  4. According to the article:

Public records show that "Wasilla had received few if any earmarks before Palin became mayor. She actively sought federal funds -- a campaign that began to pay off only after she hired a lobbyist with close ties to Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska), who long controlled federal spending as chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee. He made funneling money to Alaska his hallmark."

This is truly and embarrassment for the Republican Party. Romney, Pawlenty, and Ridge should be loving this.

  5. Of course, all of this is hypocritical. Ailin' was before earmarks before she was against them (after becoming the VP pick). When she was a small town mayor, she was for earmarks. While governor, she's for earmarks. As a potential VP, she's against earmarks. Just like she was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against the bridge to nowhere. She's just another Rethug...

  6. did you read the story?

  7. He is of the Geritol age, and the senility gang. Please, help him......He may forget who he is..........

  8. Of course. I believe he's in the position were he forgets his purpose in the election & what country he is in. He reflects good for the republicans, but I don't want him to represent the USA

  9. I believe you are correct!!!  Great link!

  10. Yes, of course.

  11. So this was just a testing and he found out better things out way other things and she found out what really needs to be changed and she is getting the job done. A bigger reason to vote in the new changes for our country with McCain Palin 2008.

  12. he wanted to amp up his vote with a women you know this. grasping at straws

  13. He didn't forget...he just never really knew.

  14. He is 72.

  15. Thanks for the article. The good times just keep rolling....

    Best Line:

"Wasilla had received few if any earmarks before Palin became mayor. She actively sought federal funds -- a campaign that began to pay off only after she hired a lobbyist with close ties to Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska), who long controlled federal spending as chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee."

  16. Yeah, the LA Times is good at pointing out that Republicans are exceptionlessly hypocritical racist warmongering scumbags.

Commendably, they don't allow suspected Republicans on their news staff.
