  1. no he did not....and he is correct...we are americans first..and then our party..not the other way around...you do what is best for your country...your party can stand with you or not...but its your country that is most important perhaps obama should have thought of that hmm?

  2. Very Partisan for you to twist words like that. We're all Americans. We act like Americans. Not in a partisan way to slander the other party, because that's not how Americans act. We're magnanimous people. We're generous even to our enemies. Look at the reconstruction of Germany and Japan. McCain was being the bigger man. I assure you, the Republican party took no offense to his words.

  3. No ....He is trying to be bi-partisan and reach across the isle for all Americans.  I hope that clears your brain.

  4. Boy you sure are stooping low now little dem traitor boy

  5. that sounds like inclusion to me.but i can see where someone with nothing above the brain stem would think that!

  6. No there was no insult intended. What he meant was, in time of need we are American first and party second.

    McCain/Palin '08

    ><

  7. wow! you really cant think logically. He is saying it is best to put aside the classifications within political parties and do what is best on behalf of all citizens.

  8. Lets not take that statement out of context...

He means that we should not be divided as two different parties, and should start being united in our efforts to make America better. That we should not see ourselves as one party, that doesn't like another parties views, we should see ourselves as americans, that need to unite, not divide.

  9. He's saying that he's not going to play partisan politics...like the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi have been doing in Congress for the last four years....

  10. i don't think he meant it that way..cmon, we dont need to try this gotcha game...there's a lot on the table against him already!

    obama/biden 08

  11. Thats funny!

"we will act as Americans, not as Republicans"

but I don't believe they will.

  12. I just saw that, he said "We will take off our Republican hats, and put on our American hats." Why is it so hard to understand what he was saying? We are all going to work togeather.

  13. There is no doubt Repulicans can act as Americans, they just hate half of the people who live here.

  14. LOL.

McCain and his buddies would need to be good actors to do that.

  15. He's saying that now is not the time to be anything BUT American.
