Do you believe picking Sarah Palin as his V.P. will make a difference to voters who don't trust McCain on women's issues, and do you believe conservative republicans optimistically accept her as the pick?

  1. oh you poor dears who have answered so far, that announcement today just clinched an already in the bag ticket, SARAH PALIN was just the icing on an already baked cake. the deal is sooo done now! YEAH! and I'm pro-child aren't you?

  2. McCain could have picked a lot better. Obama just won the election and will be the next president of the united states.

  3. Of all the people he could have picked, it makes no sense.  I think McCain really thinks people will go, oh a woman, that's a good idea I will vote for that, and think nothing else.  Most of us are not that stupid.

  4. the two are not Pro Choice

so any woman who is pro choice should not vote for that ticket

  5. Choosing a political infant isn't necessarily a good pick, but choosing a younger female is smart one.

  6. Good thing we can express our opinions without getting shot. After hearing her speak, I am confident that this team is our best hope for the future.

  7. As a Democrat who is voting for Obama, the answer is yes, this is a gift from McCain. He picks someone with no International experience, who is against women's right to choose. They may pick up votes from the old white preachers but say goodbye to the women votes. Good choice John!!!

  8. Unfortunately I think it's a brilliant pick. Republicans will like her for the strengths (a woman brings in the disaffected Hillary vote and she is definitely conservative) but they easily ignore anything they find inconvenient (I have been guessing he would pick Palin all along, but my conservative friends spewed how impossible such a stupid move that would be - now they're suddenly in love with Palin).

He will get the stupid P.U.M.A.-type vote, no matter if it costs them their reproductive rights, or whatever. Good move, McCain.
