Did John McCain save the grand experiment by selecting Sarah Palin as VP?

I think he did. He brought in the conservative base. Obamessiah's speech Thursday night, a ripoff of Reagan's CPAC speech, was aimed at disaffected conservative men and was pretty good. By bringing in a staunch Conservative, McCain brings them back into the fold.

I really don't see how McCain loses this election considering his VP is more ready to be President than the dems Presidential Candidate.
