  1. No Mitt said he didn't want VP

  2. Because he's an idiot.

Romney will run again and win...without Mr. puffy face.

  3. No, he didn't, and even if he did, who cares.  I think Romney has a lot going for him, but he was the wrong choice.  I think your analysis that conservatives love him is too general.  Most of our friends are conservatives, and like us, they do not support Romney.  His religion is creepy, and it's a huge liability.

That isn't why McCain didn't choose him, though.  If McCain had chosen Romney, it would have been an easy argument that a McCain presidency would be business as usual, another four years of Bush.  That argument has now been silenced.  So has the argument that Obama should win because he is making history.  Palin is making history too.

Now the liberals have no other option but to argue their case for Obama based on merit.

  4. Did Obama throw Hillary under a bus?  Hillary won the largest number of votes, besides Obama, in the Democratic primaries.  Democrats love Hillary Clinton.  Why did Obama not pick her as VP, but instead threw her under a bus?

Luckily John McCain picked a better candidate and has probably clinched the election!

  5. sarah is better looking in magic underwear.

  6. Welcome to American politics 101

  7. I think McCain was worried that Romney would undermine him so he could be stronger for the next election.

  8. Believe me, I would have loved to see Romney in the White House, but at the top of the ticket.  Romney with McCain just isn't good as a pair.  Plus the Democrats would hardly be able to contain themselves running excerpts from the Primary.  It would have been exciting to see Mitt debate Biden.  Maybe Mitt will accept a cabinet position and/or  run in 2012.

  9. McCain made such a dumb choice.

That fool had a chance of stealing the election if he chose Mitt Romney who has economic experience, instead he picks an unknown female who has less than 2 years governing experience and some experience being mayor.

    Worst VP decision ever.

  10. He wasn't the best choice.  Not all conservatives, not many at all, love Mitt Romney.  If he had chosen Romney, I would not vote for him.  He's got my vote now.

  11. I don't think Mormons believe in buses, do they? Or is that the Amish?

  12. Because he has yet to grown tired of hearing people incorrectly use the phrase "throw under the bus". The rest of us have.

  13. Mitt Romney did not win the second highest number of delegates, Huckabee did. Romney dropped out earlier after realizing that he's wasted enough of his money.

  14. He took a lesson from Obama

but this time he picked a smart choice

    not a boring old guy
