Dem Accuses Media of Pro-Obama Bias

He called the media's treatment of Obama during the primaries "embarrassing," and went on to voice what many Republicans certainly feel. "Running for the most important office in the world, Obama got basically a free pass."

All this in Denver, the day before the official start of the Democrat convention.

When Brokaw responded and the subject of MSNBC came up, Rendell pounced. "MSNBC was the official network of the Obama campaign," according to Rendell, who went on to specifically criticize Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann for their lack of impartiality. The best response Brokaw could come up with was that Matthews and Olbermann are "not the only voices" on MSNBC.

  1. Yes he did. And other Dems have stated that FOX gives the most balanced coverage.

  2. Interesting.  In Philadelphia he was called fast Eddie because he would do anything to advance his position or status.  So when this was read there has to be some underlying reason or advantage that he is seeking.  He was a strong Hillary backer and perhaps there is still more than a little friction left even as they move into the convention.  He has also switched parties in his political career and underneath it all perhaps he likes McCain better than Obama.

  3. I guess the truth hurt! Mathews and Olberman have been having an Obama love-fest. Reminds me of old male dogs humping the legs of anyone that walks in the door.

  4. The best the media can do is present the geriatric Brokaw as it's defender.  Even he knows he's surrounded by shills.

  5. he sure did...

I was under the impression that whatever a Liberal says is unimportant, however, I have not heard any conservative acknowledge the right-wing bias of AM and Talk radio.

I believe Rendell is a jilted Clinton supporter, doing what the Clinton machine does best - blame some "vast" conspiracy
