I would hope he chose her because she's a spunky, independent, down-to-earth woman with high moral standards.  She knows how to kick butt when necessary and isn't scared by the "old boy" network.

A woman after my own heart, I have to admit.  And you have to admit that her speaking voice is a lot less grating than Hillary Clinton's.
