  1. He put quality first, in my eyes.

Palin has more class and character than the whole Democratic party put together.

Character isn't a quality that matters to the left. Thats why this pick makes them so uncomfortable.

  2. No,

    But it's not his fault.

Don't forget that he is declared disabled for his mental and physical conditions by The US Gov / Navy.

    Regards.

  3. It's obviously just politics. If he wanted the women's vote (because that's the only reason he chose her), at least don't go against yourself and pick someone with no experience. The thing he says Obama doesn't have. I'm not saying the woman can't lead because of inexperience but that was the whole attack for the Republican party and they just contradicted their own selves. The lady is pretty but it's a little weird that he thinks just by choosing a woman he'll get the women's vote. And she's using Hilary's name way too fast, it will only back fire on her and annoy Hilary voters. But it's even better for Obama I say.

  4. I don't believe he put politics above country at all.

Of course, you have the right to your opinion.

  5. Let me see... Hu mmm

Obama preached changed.  He said the old ways weren't working anymore.  He said he would reach out and unite all Americans.  Then he picked as his VP; an old man with 40 years of Washington insider experience, who's son is a lobbyist, is a known partisan politician who never reaches out to conservatives....  And the Democrats all said, "Great pick".

McCain said he was his own man, a maverick, and he could bring change.  The Democrats laughed and said he would only continue the failed policies of Bush.  McCain said he would cut pork barrel spending, use "all of the above" to fix the energy crisis, he would better be able to reach out across party lines, and bring outsiders into his cabinet.  Then he picked Palin...

McCain pick for VP was consistent with his values, Obama 's was NOT!!!   Obama lies.

  6. He put his country first by nominating someone who isn't owned by bureaucrats. Someone who will fight corruption. Someone who will keep fetus' alive and let them grow into people who can contribute to America. Someone who clearly knows how to run a government as evident by her 85% approval rating.

  7. Right now the country is politics, the grass roots approach to cut of military funding and leave out troops in foreign counties..Patriotic?. Take amendment rights away from people and not the criminals then tax the h**l out of the working class..Patriotic? Introduce the major socialist and Communist form of an idea to health care in the United States and tax the h**l out of that..Patriotic?Siding our disabled , Elderly and poor for their lack of ability to pay ..Patriotic?

He picked a person of the people to help him turn this situation around. Thinking of what is best for American people, American business and Americans way of life.He has to do it threw politics since it was politics that messed it up . Now to me that is Patriotic.

  8. Perhaps.  But it's not right for any of us to judge Palin based on her resume yet.  After all, people did forget that Obama could have a little more experience as well.

And as far as politics is concerned, I don't think that the Republican's thought that they would get the Hillary voters by adding Palin to the ticket.  After all, she is the complete opposite and everyone can see that. But Palin is unique.  She has done an awesome job in the two years she has served as Governor, as well as reaching across the isle by having Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike on her cabinet.  I fully believe that Palin wants what is right for our country by defeating the abundance of corruption we have in the government and looking past partisanship.

So to make a long story short, I think this question cannot be answered yet, but I hope to shed some light on this issue in the upcoming debates.

  9. OMG Gloria my friend you have brought out RUTH  and I want to play now ,,ok politics before country I think is stepping up Palin before above a Romney or Huckabee Or even a Condi Rice those choices would have been correct for party lines as well as country meaning either of them would have the ABILITY to led AMERICA if something happens to old man CAIN it could and now its POLITICS first by choosing Palin cause she does not have the experience that America needs her choice was political and geared towards big corporation & oil!!! and getting the ladys votes  Hope that helps RUTH   just my opinion and gloria great question I am waiting for a long answer perhaps someone will really give us the truth unless I hit it on the money  LOL   chow your DINO

  10. NOT!  now they are TRULY the ticket for change and fight against the Establishment....!......Look at Palin ....she has done things that Obama dreams of doing.... like against after her OWN party on corruption.…when if EVER obama has done the same in the highly corrupt Democrat party uh?...I say she is more for change than obama is...she has DONE it! Look it up!  ..and McCain has been doing that in Congress for years...for years...

  11. I don't think McCain actually chose her. She was decided for him. I don't see where patriotism plays a part in this.

  12. Yes, he was serving his own interests and leaving the country to flounder if Palin has to assume the Presidency. He's given notice that he is his first priority, and that he's happy to have America pay the ultimate price if it serves him.

  13. Why do you say that?  Palin is exactly what this country needs!  As far as I can see, she's 1000% awe-inspiring.  I've never been this happy with a candidate before!

  14. mc cain showed he is a republican and put party and religion ahead of country and the people.

  15. It was his patriotic duty to nominate a woman.

Obama should have done the same.

  16. McCain is clueless.

  17. McCain put country first in his decision.  This decision resonates in far greater context than this election and is deeply rooted in America's admirable and unique cultural heritage.

Governor Palin is a present and rare representative of the spirit of the American Frontier---that of possibility achieved through grounded ingenuity and self-reliance rather than bureaucracy.  Palin embodies the idea of individual service to others.  She did not choose a political career in youth as a means to her own ends, but became involved as she saw needs that required addressing.

And what young woman (or man) would not admire the self-determined path of Governor Palin?

  18. Personally I think it's another symptom of his lack of judgment.  There's nothing inherently patriotic or unpatriotic about her selection.

I don't agree with the far right on many things, but this is one of them.

If he wanted to pick a woman with nads, experience, and temperament, Kay Bailey Hutchison of TX would have been a FAR better choice!

  19. ... and them Republicans say she has more experience! They must not be able to count either.

  20. You'd first have to explain how he "put politics before country...".  I don't believe he did.  The fact that so many dems are posting shows how smart a decision he made.

  21. Could you explain this?  It makes no sense to me.  Palin is an excellent choice.

You people talking about experience are funny.
