Did McCain leave his last wife because his present wife was able to afford his campaign?

I wasn't aware that his wife was paying for his campaign.  Like all other presidential candidates, i thought it was paid for by raising money from his supporters.

Cindy did help bankroll his initial run for the House back in the day.

As for why he BROKE HIS SACRED VOW and ABANDONED HIS WIFE, you'd have to ask McCain that yourself. Not that you could get a straight answer out of him

In wikipedia, it stated that he ran for office after he got married to his current wife and that she "helped" him run for office financially and with the help of her father since her family was high-society in Arizona.  So, with that said, you can draw your own conclusion as to how he planted his foundation in politics.  Without Cindy, he probably would have been just a retired Navy officer residing in Virginia Beach, San Diego or Hawaii.
