  1. And here I thought that Obama was 'the Starbucks latte boy'.

    Silly me.

  2. god-forbid he makes a pit stop.

  3. i would to lol

  4. It was a little smaller than this, as the New York times reported this morning anyway, and McCain has done so for a while now, because, McCain likes his cup of Starbucks in the morning.  There were cars full of reporters, and, secret service.

But really, as a partisan story line to pronounce McCain a wealthy elitist, it is over the top and really in poor taste and judgement to use this story line.  Fact is, reporters and secrect service follow party nominee's for President wherever they go!

Obama probably had a similar caravan headed into Oahu a few weeks back, and, a caravan of cars wherever he travels too.

Really, anyone in their positions could be made seem spoiled and "out of touch", but, would you want it any other way?

McCain actually turned down secret service duty until he no longer could afford not to have them with him.  All of us recognize that people this famous need protection from the deranged among us whom would due them harm.

Personally, it must be pretty funny to lead a caravan down the road for a cup of joe and the paper!  I'll bet McCain gets a huge kick out of it, in, a humerous way!

  5. He's the man of course he did.  I actually have no idea.  He should have just sent a worker, but maybe he wanted to interact with the people and pretend he understands all those artsy weirdos willing to pay 5 bucks for a cup of coffee every day of there lives.  At least a pack usually last the average smoke throughout the day!

  6. Yes, he did. Notice how all this elitist stuff that Right is now calling "normal". I remember how they pounded on Kerry for making the same bourgeois mistakes that McCain is now making

  7. Do you ever stop for a burger or coffee on the way to somewhere?  Give us a break!!!

  8. I would too if I was McCain. As a presidential candidate obviously needs protection around him wherever he goes, and hey, Starbucks is yummy!

It was another way to tell America "hey, I'm normal just like you!", haha.

  9. mccain is the worst! everyone who agrees with me should go vote him down on this page.. you'll get a free gift card if you do!

  10. I guess he could not figure out where is the nearest Starbucks is from the seven houses he owns.

  11. at least he didn't go to europe for the latte.

  12. I hope his staff wasn't that stupid.  Clinton and Edwards each pulled a stunt like that.  You have believe that candidates who have help that can't prevent this sort of thing are rather out of it.

  13. Yes he did. At that age hydration is very important liberal.

Physiologic changes related to aging make an elderly adult especially prone to dehydration. She has about 10% less body fluid than a younger adult, so she has less fluid reserve to start with. Because her sense of taste diminishes with age, food may become unappetizing. Consequently, she may eat less and use more salt, raising her body's need for water. At the same time, however, her thirst response can diminish, so she may not recognize the need to drink more. For these reasons, an elderly adult may become severely dehydrated very quickly, before she feels thirsty or anyone notices symptoms.
