  1. Heck no!!! This is exactly what we need. This was a Strategic move on McCains end. As for experience, Sarah Palin definitely has more experience then Obama. Obama was  in the senate for 140 days and accomplished NOTHING! Sarah Palin served on the City Council, she was mayor of her town for 9 years and has been the governor of Alaska for 2 years. Do the math!! Plus she doesn't take any c**p off anyone exactly what we need. She's pretty much going to win the female vote. Not to mention this knocks Obama out of the limelight . I can't wait to see her debate Biden. Great move McCain!! You've got my vote all the way

  2. I think so.  Does anyone believe that Sarah Palin is the most qualified person in the country to become president?  This pick is such an obvious ploy to try and pander to women and to the radical right evangelical nut cases,  It is sad that the republican party has become so in the pocket of these fake Christian fanatics and the NRA.

  3. She is a conservative, a woman, overall a brilliant move on McCain’s part. Check Mate Obama.

  4. Most definitely. He had a sliver of a chance of winning. Now even that is gone.

  5. It's so refreshing to see someone stand up for what they believe and actually take action to do it.

It is absolutely amazing what this woman has done in Alaska over the past two years as their governor.

She doesn't just tell stories... she lives what she says.  This is a true sign of character!

  6. Not at all. It proves that he is not under the blanket of what Liberals call "the old white mans club". He is a rebel! I like him for that!  I love this pick and he smashes that guy that passed one thing in the Senate!

That tall guy with big ears...

    Forget his name....

  7. No, he actually earned my vote with this choice. A great counter to Obama's speech last night. Great move.

  8. Not necessarily.  He could have done much worse.

  9. no doubt...

  10. Let's face it,the politicians DON'T make any decision before they ask themselves very important question which is,WHAT'S for me ?

the presidential candidate should choose a VP

who's qualified to lead the country in a short moment notice but today it's no longer apply !

because today they choose the person who can help them win the election & the h**l with country!

Obama picks Biden for his foreign policy experience to give him some kind of a balance

in order to help him get elected.McCain picks unknown person who doesn't have any international experience at all in order to win the women Democrats who like to see a woman gets elected for a higher position in the government. At the end we as a people will get stuck for more of the same.McCain & Obama don't care about anyone but their hunger for power & they'll tell you exactly what you like to hear to get your votes and then everything will be back normal again until the next election  ...how's that for a laugh !

    MCCAIN/OBAMA = WARS/ priceless .

  11. Let's see what we've got so far.

He can no longer attack Obama for lacking experience.

He can no longer attack Obama for proposing increased taxes on Oil Companies, because Palin's main claim to fame is doing just that.

He can no longer attack McCain for his celebrity status after picking a beauty queen/TV sportscaster/Vogue covergirl to be his VP

He can no longer claim to be a maverick after caving in and chosing a hardcore conservative with ties to the oil industry to be VP (again)

    She's under an ethics investigation.

And that's after the first 12 hours.

  12. Obviously!

  13. I don't think so.

She seems like a everyday woman.I think she has more experience than Obama.

Real life experience not comunity organize experience.

  14. No, he shot Obama in the foot.

Pay attention next time. This will be on the test.

  15. Nope, I am a Conservative and I love his decision.

  16. No, quite the opposite. He has energized the conservative base and will likely attract a lot of independents with Palin.

  17. No, there is no down side.  It is win/win for McCain.

The country generally does NOT elect Senators President and the Democrats are running two Senators.

Governors do much better in Presidential races because they have executive experience and half the nation is women.

    Obama is sunk.

  18. yes! why not someone else well known?

  19. Yes, and I have to laugh at the number of times that I have heard this same phrase used (shot himself in the foot) today!

This was the dumbest pick that McCain could've come up with.

  20. No, he shot Obama in the butt

  21. **desperate times call for desperate measures..McCain is obviously drowning in desperation..i guess he thinks women are that naive or he just has a nack for making an already bad situation worse.

  22. Interesting to see what choices Politicians make.

    Obviously not always smart ones.
