Did McCain speech seal his defeat in November?

No.  I think McCain resurrected the Republican party and put them back in the game.  At best Obama preaches to less than 50% of the country.  He will never be a great man and all the things Obama says in his speeches to fix things are dreams.  Obama can't create funding or make laws.  That's the part of legislature.  McCain working with a Democratically controlled Congress to find a way to make things happen is far more realistic on what actually happens.  In fact Lincoln, during the Civil War says he would pass any legislation as long as they funded the Civil War.  That's why Lincoln is not known for much more than the Civil War yet is considered by some historians to have been a great president.

McCain may never get the presidency, but the liberals will never get the country.
