  1. Michelle Obama has a lot to deal with and she is adapting to her environment very well.  Her family is her main concern and  people have seen her "change" in front of the camera.

I do think she is different after the view as she is more guarded in expressing her views.  This is probably for the best as even her husband Baraak has learned to adapt to showing a more positive light to his campaign.

Most politicians have to adapt to the current situation.

I don't blame people who do this as this is the way of the world

  2. My view is not changed. She is now a wolf in sheep's clothing. :(

  3. I had more respect for her before the View than after. Before she hated America, but at least she was honest about it.

Now she is just playing nicey nice to help her husband. It was all fake.

It's okay not to agree with someone, but don't fake how you feel. That is what she did.

  4. Well, I've already been liking her a bit, but seeing her on the View basically reaffirmed why I like her. I mean, those women on the View are twitty. They annoy the h**l out of me. Even when you get great women around that table, that all tend to lose their brain cells and sound and act like idiots. Ugh.

But Michelle Obama classed the joint up. She didn't get all twitty like them. And that, now that I think of it, that takes a very strong woman. Stronger even then Barbara Walters, I would say. So, now that I analyze, yeah, I do have more respect for Michelle Obama then I did before. I think her analysis and explanations of what she has said in the past that created pitfalls and concerns made me go "Oh, I get it now," and I appreciated that.

Also, the thing about both of the Obamas is that they always sound very genuine. When Hillary Clinton was explaining why she said there was snipers in Bosnia, I felt myself go, "Yeah, right. That's an excuse...you sound like you got caught." But when Michelle Obama explained why she had said that comment about being "really proud of her country for one of the first times," I believed what she was telling me. It was logical, it made sense, and it was a genuine answer.

Proof that no matter who you are, truth-telling is always and will always be important.

  5. To be honest, I think it really didn't have a large effect. I'm pretty sure nearly every obama supporter was already perceiving her well so it really just made them adore her more.  And the non-obama supporters who did not like her in the first place probably thought nothing of it, or added more fuel to the fire.

  6. I feel pretty much the same about her.  I like her.  She stood out like a shining star compared to the losers on the panel of The View.  Stupid Elizabeth had to talk over her as usual and talk about herself (like anyone cares)  . Here is the next First Lady and Elizabeth is yapping about herself.  Get over yourself for Pete's sake.  Even Whoopie spilled her drink over everyone.  She is usually so cool and the most logical of the pin heads.  At least they kept the brain dead Sherry quiet.   Joy had her usual smerk on her face waiting to inject some useless comment.  Poor Michelle, don't go back there.

We don't really need to know if you were wearing pantyhose or bare legs.  Barbara, think up some better questions next time , not about pantyhose.  Too lame.

  7. I like her and have a lot of respect for her (yes, I'm an Obama supporter).

Watching her on the View, surrounded by those idiots made me like her even more.

Did anyone notice how Hasselbeck went out of her way to say there's not going to be any problems and blahblahblah, but you could tell that she was biting her tongue the entire time.
