All we were told in the run into last season was how much money Rangers had made in Europe last season as the footholders of Minty in the Scottish press dutifully wagged their tales when he barked. Surely in light of this emabarrasment, not just for Rangers, but for Scottish Football as well, then David Murray has to explain why Walter Smith was reduced to buying second raters instead of buying quality players to boost the squad.

  1. its not the case of the players being second rate - we havent bought a motherwell and burnley reject.

    walters tactics however, are.

    bougherra, lafferty, velicka, miller will all be good signings for us.
