Of course, it will be interesting to see how the Republicans perform in Minneapolis/St. Paul, but will the fact that a black man and a white woman in both teams result in more people coming out to vote? Will we see other groups of Americans, who have been ignored show interest, and buck the ages old trend?

  1. I believe he did it in order to sway Hillary Clinton supporters into voting for him.  Unfortunately there are some hard core feminists out there who will vote solely for a woman because she is a woman rather than what she actually stands for.  Palin clearly has only one thing in common with Hillary - a v****a.  Plain and simple.

  2. Being female does not hurt. She is, however the best choice being a no nonsense, free thinking, bright individual.

    I think she's Superwoman.

Depending on how much Hillary voters are willing to open their minds will decide how many move to her side. Does liberal rhetoric trump smarts?

  3. Its just a game of cards, there s*x card matches the others race card. If they could have found a woman in wheelchair they would be in the lead. I hate Politics.

  4. Mccain thought that he could fight s*x with race.

  5. That was a small part of it.  Rove thought it to be a great idea to sway Hillary voters with Palin.  They basically didn't give women enough credit.  Poor fools.

  6. I think that the Republicans have been very clever.  By tapping the obviously inexperienced Palin, the Democrats must be very careful not to paint Palin as too inexperienced for the job, because the 'inexperience' arrow also points towards Obama who's the actual presidential candidate.....which leaves McCain and Biden as the only real experienced candidates to lead the country, and McCain is the one running for President.

  7. Oh no, he just thinks right wing beauty queens who have been Mayor of a town of 7,000 have a lot to say on the international stage.  It's Dan Quayle all over again.  How to avoid assassination......

  8. I think one of the reasons he picked her was so Hillary's women supporters will vote for him. But the thing is that Hillary's supporters are pro-choice and Sarah Palin is pro-life. He is kind of rubbing it in Obama's face that he chose a woman.

  9. Any woman who does not vote for Sarah Palin is a traitor to her gender.

Any Black who does not vote for Obama is a traitor to his race

Any White who does not vote for Obama is prejudiced

    Democrats offer welfare

    Republicans offer warfare

    Democrats offer higher taxes

    Republicans offer deficit spending

Libertarians offer none of the above
