Did Mr. Tim Russert Influence your life by example ?

Mr. Tim Russert was a great family man , sports fan , icon in

political circles , and in the judgement of many who knew him

an all around great human being. But for those who did not

personally know him , but being a fan who watched " Meet The Press " , did he influence your life in a positive way ?

Only positive and kind answers please , out of respect for his family at this time of mourning.

You ask us if he influenced us in a positive way and then tell us only positive answers?

Then why ask if you don't want to hear anything non-positive like no?

I would not say he "influenced me," because that would imply that I changed something in my life because of him, but I will clearly say that I admired the way he interviewed people.  He made them answer the question he asked, and politicians are very savvy at changing the subject.  Tim made them answer the question he asked, and he also could figure out where they wanted to go and gave them a followup question so they could make their point.

He was an excellent interviewer, and he had a nice smile.  My sympathy to his family, who must especially be suffering, because with the 24/7 coverage on MSNBC, it's easy for those of us at distance to think the man is still alive.
