Did Muhammad Ali do what his mother told him?

I just meant in general its a philosphical question. He to ME is the greatest person thats lived

I don't know if his mother told him much she was pretty submissive to his father.  I know she was a Christian and always took her kids to church, and since Ali went Muslim I guess in that sense he did not listen to her. But like Ali said , he believes in God he just calls him by a different name.

Unless your referring to something else she told him.
