  1. i'm sorry, you lost me with your additional details

  2. Saftey wise the COT has been a great improvement over the COT. Competition wise the same cannot be said. The races with the COT on the short tracks are similar as they used to be with the old car, but on the 1.5 mile tracks once the leader is out front it's next to impossible to pass unless the car is well balanced and can handle well in traffic. I belive sooner or later NASCAR needs to make a change with the COT becasue it punches a bigger hole in traffic which makes it tough to drive especailly back in the pack. I don't know what change to make but a change needs to be made sooner rather than later to improve the racing on the track

  3. yes for one the safety and the car is more room for taller drivers the speed will come and racing will be ten times better then the old car

  4. no its ugly and the racing isnt as good yes it might be a big safer but mcdowell would of been ok in the old car with the safer bariers hans device etc i think

  5. I can't say anything bad if it is safer.

  6. the answer is yes - if no other reason than safety.  the performance and "race-ability" will come with time - time for the teams to figure it out, and time for nascar to come to their senses and start listening to the teams on how they can make some minor improvements here or there.

as for iheartmpls's response, no i don't know what you say is true.  and what makes me believe it even less is that the one thing i do know is true is that for someone who hates nascar so much, what are you doing here?  can't you go find some group for narrow-minded pinheads where you might fit in better?

ps. oh, i see his response was removed (not by me).  oh well.  maybe some other group will find him wallowing in his own self-loathing and let him join in their reindeer games.

  7. It is safer for the drivers.  I think the races this year have been a ball to watch.  I love the way they handle the can get slideways and still pull it back and keep on going.  Fun stuff.  I would say yes they are a good thing.

  8. yes
