  1. If circumstances warrant it, yes.

Any driver would've been given those same opportunities.

    However......

You are right on the "haters"

They'd have their knickers in a knot had it've been Jr.

  2. No, and you know it so stop whining. NASCAR would have done the same for any driver including Jr. in those circumstances.

  3. hmmm, what should we think about that? I'm a Dale JR. fan and I could care less. If he needs two tries let him have them.

  4. I think the point the asker is trying to get across here is if it had been Jr., people would of been posting "questions" bashing him every 30 seconds until next weeks race (or longer).

  5. Last week NASCAR screwed up and to be fair they let him go out again.

Yesterday it was raining when he went out, so to be fair they let him go again when it stopped..seems fair to me..

Not that it helped him a whole lot..

  6. did you watch qualifying?  before you start crying, LISTEN to the announcers when they describe why he was allowed to re-qualify each time - last week nascar officials screwed up in a way that could have affected his car's performance negatively and unfairly, and this week he was in the middle of qualifying when the rains began.  but you probably know that already, because you are, after all, a "know it all."

  7. who cares, he aint gonna win the cup anyway

  8. You asked the question wrong. You used common sense, your question should be....

Answer YES or NO ONLY.  Did Nascar affect the qualifying outcome by letting Booshhhhh (for Junya) qualify twice?

YES or NO ONLY no bashing!!!!

  9. It was legitimate both times but I agree with Meran B that if it was Dale Jr. all kinds of whining would be going on.

  10. Yes they did, it's right under the rule that allows Junya too pass the pace car 100 times under caution. I looked it up.

  11. I know it's funny that something has happened to him 2 weeks in a row for nascar to let him re-qualify. But if you actually watched qualifying you can plainly see it was raining on his qualifying run and nascar threw the red flag during his run. He was well within his rights to get a 2nd try, whether he's Dale Jr, Kyle Busch, or Brian Vickers it doesn't matter. Nascar did the right thing to let him go back out. Besides its not like it helped him any so I really don't get the point of your complaint?

  12. I saw nothing wrong with either case, (Jr Fan here), And yesterdays reason was also legit and did not effect where he starts tomorrow nor where he will finish.

BTW, I was checking out yahoo sports in the NASCAR section and viewed the pics from Sanoma. There is a bada$$ shot of the shrub in a turn. The car is way off the ground and torqued, check it out. (poster material)

  13. It was raining on the second lap of his run. I knew when it happened yesterday that somebody would post a question about it, even though it was yet again clearly legitimate to let him do his run over on a track that wasn't wet.

I'm sure he would rather have had the rain continue and not have to qualify at all. He would be starting on the pole if that was the case. Why do you think he yelled "Yeah baby, here comes the rain" over his radio, on the second lap of his first qualifying run!

  14. No, last week nascar forgot to remove some strip off the car and  had to requalify, this week it was raining during the his first qualifying run.

  15. Really?

i didn't know that (or at least for the second time)

    it's getting pretty dumb

  16. Ironically, two years ago, Jr had a p**s-poor qualifying run going on at a track, (I think Pocono)  it started to rain, they red flagged it, then when they started to qualify again, he had the choice to try again, or take the time he already had.  Jr went back out, and got the pole.  I don't remember anyone crying about that.

  17. There are certain conditions when a driver may be able to make a second qualifying run if it isrequired, whether it is Kyle Busch, or Dale Earnhardt Jr., George Bush, or P. Diddy it doesn't matter quit trying to pick a fight by calling people "haters" if people think Junior cheats they obviously have a reason for believing that and whether they are right or wrong let them believe that because that is the fun part about sports you can pull for a driver and hate another one for absolutely no reason at all and you nshouldn't have to put up with people trying to force their driver down your throat.  To tell you the truth, I don't hate Jr. or any driver for that matter  I hate how  NASCAR focuses on a handful of drivers every week and shuns the others.

Ex.  it has been 66 races since Jr's last win

    next race,

Junior is running dead last, but look at the bright side it has been 67 races since his last win,

    next race

it has been 68 races since Jr.s last win he is running 24th with no shot at winning but we will still mention it, even though Elliott Sadler (who hasn't won since 2004) is leading we still want to talk about a driver running 24th.

Drivers who don't get the Jr. treatment despite long winless streaks

    Dave Blaney 283 starts-0 wins

Bill Elliott 161 races since last win (Rockingham 2003)

Robby Gordon 174 races since last win (Watkins Glen 2003)

Jeremy Mayfield 101 races since last win (Michigan 2005)

Bobby Labonte 160 starts since last win(Homestead 2003)

and finally Ken Schrader ithas been 573 races since Schrader was last in victory lane and several times he has led races and been in a position for a top 5 or even a win, yet no mention of this instead of asking when Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon and Kurt Busch will get a win worry about drivers who have gone mor than one year without a win!!

  18. Didn't seem to help him all that much, he still ended up 27th. Besides, that kid could start 2 laps down and still finish in the top 10. And this comes from an un-Busch fan.

  19. Yes, there is a yellow tape that is put over parts of the car for qualifying. Because the M&M's Toyota is yellow, the officials missed it. After his run, the officials found out about their mistake, put tape on the car, and let him re-qualify.
