  1. The All Black defece was good, but then again so was the wallabies. Overall they played to a much better standard than they have all year. I don't know if it will win the cup, as it was by far no where near a perfect performance. But they showed thay can play conservative football and not throw the ball around in the conditions which is a good sign.

They weren't quite there yet but are slowly on their way.

If the all blacks have a little more discipline, cut back on the handling errors and line out losses, as well as play with peak form. Then IMO there is no douubt they will win the RWC this year. All players must be fit and in peak though and no injuries must be in the side for this to take place. But we will see.

Good points IMO were Dan Carters improving form (Hopefully that will continue) and Brendan Leonards exposure to more high level game time.

If the all blacks choose to play properly in September/October and can iron out the bugs, they will be very very hard to beat

  2. They showed that they could win under pressure! Theydidn't have a single put-in at the scrums in the first half, yet in the second half they came out and chased everything and got the reward for putting on the pressure.

So yes, they started to look like a team that can perfrom under pressure and win big games.

  3. As a Wallabies fan it saddens me to say yeah. The All Black defense was great. I'm not sure if that with the form that they currently have, they would of won past world cups. I think they'll win it because all the other teams are playing like Australia. c**p.

  4. No!The most boring b@stard team preformance i have ever seen(*excluding crappy England)

  5. yes

  6. yes   great improved from them   they on there way to winning the word cup

  7. No, but they did have the stopping power and the lasting power. That counts. When you're stuck with the rain, the Wallabies etc. you should try and have the control of the match what ever happens. Think they did that very effectively. That's something most teams doesn't have. i.e: Wallabies with the amount of posession they had, the scrums, the line out steals etc. they should've done much better.
