  1. No and he has not predicted anything accurately either.

  2. No, he didn't predict anything, his predictions were so vague and general that they could be applied to a variety of things.  He was just a crazy old man.

  3. Nostradamus was a FALSE PROPHET.  His stuff is hogwash.

  4. Yes they say he did

He spoke of the two great pillers in the New City falling.

New York, the 'City of God'???

The first quatrain to hit email inboxes on 9/11 contained the prediction that a "great thunder" would be heard in the "City of God":

"In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb",

The third big war will begin when the big city is burning"

    - Nostradamus 1654

Let the interpreting begin. Assuming "the City of God" is New York City, then the "two brothers torn apart by Chaos" must be the fallen towers of the Word Trade Center. The "fortress" is clearly the Pentagon, the "great leader" succumbing to Chaos must be the United States of America, and "the third big war" can only mean World War III.

  5. In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb",

The third big war will begin when the big city is burning

Nost also gave exact references to the place where the attacks would happen.

He is a soothsayer of the highest order.

  6. No, but he did predict Ted Kennedy passing out from alcohol withdrawal (or seizure, if you prefer).

  7. No. He did predict the OJ killing.

  8. nope been translated from ancient script and words adapted to fit into various modern script

  9. Yes but it is all in the interpretation of it.I watched a program about it and one guy got downright hateful because his interpretation was not the one most people favored. So don't look for the "experts" to enlighten you anytime soon. One must always take these things with a grain of salt and be your own best advice. We are not the stupid sheep they want us to be.

  10. The previous answers evidently are from people that  never read his predictions- he gave the name of the city and the longitude and latitude that it was located at- you can't be more precise then that.

  11. In one of his visions, he saw a distant horizon with two tall peaks that were on fire.  Keep in mind that there were no skyscrapers back in his time, so that is how it would appear to him.
