  1. NOT THIS AMERICAN

  2. Not Americans, but it will with traitors.

  3. It did not resonate with me, but I did love the music that was playing at the end of his speech when they were all gathered on stage and exiting.  That had more of an impact on me than he did.  I did not cry like the plants on the floor with tears streaming down their faces while embracing each other.  Please...

  4. He did not tell me anything I did not know.  He did not expand on his policies and how he purports to to execute his plans.  He spoke in generalities and skirted the tough subjects.  Not once did I hear him speak of how he will combat out of control spending in Washington or address Russia.

If spending does not decrease, we will be selling this country down the river.  His tax policy alone, will be disastrous for this country.  His proposed decreases to the military will be the wrong policy at the wrong time.  We live in a dangerous world that will present challenges never experienced before (just a matter of time).

He is not a good candidate for President, and certainly not at this time in history.  If he wins, hindsight will be 20/20.  Our fiscal mess will deepen like never before.  You can count on it.

  5. Not with me.  It was cookbook Democrat BS.  No change.

  6. yes he talked about the great democrat president's JFK went to war with Vietnam when they attacked as I'm not sure where the somewhere and then there's Carter he led all the draft dodgers comeback and have to repay or do anything this comeback and then there's Clinton's be stopped all offshore drilling a passed NAFTA so the big companies can move everything of the united states Mexico and Canada and pay no duties and get cheaper labor .

  7. Nope.

I've had people tell me a load of lies because they wanted something from me.

    Nothing "hopeful" about that.

  8. It resonated with Americans.

    Probably not with republicans, though.

  9. I thought it was a lot of bull.  How can he promise all those things to people ? How do people get pulled into such nonsense.  Where will all the money come from for all that he proposes? It is basically same old, same old. Take from the rich and give to the middle class and poor. Robin Hood at his finest. He gives false hope. The government never was intended to take care of people from cradle to grave. Government needs to get out of the way and let people run their own lives.

  10. I think you are refering to his message of promises there is no way he will be able to keep.   NO!  Hope is not what I got out of Obama's speech.

  11. Havent heard anything about it yesterday or today.. Must have been more of the same old BS .

  12. Having studied economics I know that Obama will be a disaster for this country.

  13. No it didn't because everytime he said hope, change or promise I took a shot of tequila.

I was drunk before he even started the second paragraph.

  14. Not so much the message of hope. But understanding that he and Biden have not lived charmed lives. They worked for what they have and where they landed. Unlike the current administration and the current Republican candidate.

  15. So many households watched it but people have already forgotten it. It was supposed to be historic but yet he didn't talk about MLK.

I thought the most memorable speech during the DNC was Bill Clinton's speech (even though I do not agree with his policies at all). The other memorable part of DNC was when Oprah said she lost her eyelashes crying so much during Obama's speech.
