What do you think? I think Obama should have still picked Hillary because her voters would have to vote for him in order to get her to help win the election. McCains choice was smart because she will pull alot of female voters. What do you think?

  1. obama did , mccain didnt.... is this like for skool or something ??/

  2. Obama should of pulled his head out of his butt and made Hillary Clinton his VP. I know of alot of woman that are going to hold it against Obama being so arrogant, and not vote at all or vote for McCain.

  3. Quick Change Obama is only in the race to add a little color to his amazingly bland VeePee. McCain is trying not to make victory seem too easy.

  4. You're overstating Palin's effects. Most Hillary supporters have quietly made the switch.

  5. Neither did. Obama should have picked Hillary, and McCain should have picked Romney.

  6. Obama's choice is middling.  Not a bad choice, not a good choice.  For a guy who campaigned on change his first big decision was a resounding more of the same.  Biden is a decent person and pretty intelligent, but he also turns off a lot of voters.  Biggest drawback is that like Obama, neither has an executive experience.  Irrespective of what talents they bring to the office they are both at day one in that career.  Most companies like their senior executives to have some experience in a lower management position first.  C+

McCain made a solid pick.  The Republican party has been backsliding in the last few years.  Corruption and a drift to the center has alienated their core constituents.  Now we have an evangelical Christian with a history of reforming government.  She has seriously re-energized the conservative base and drawn them back to the Republican party.  She will play well with Reagan democrats. Ironically the one group she was assumed to be picked to attract, Hillary supporters, she won't draw.  Above all else he elevated a fresh face in the Republican party to the national stage.  A

  7. I think Obama wanted to avoid the stereotype of the fine black man with the older past her prime white woman.  He chose the safe pick and it showed he can be realistic.  McCain I think is getting desperate in the head.  Or at least thinks he is winning.  Too bad we can't go back in a time machine and vote McCain as the Republican nominee from 2000, but then he probably would've lost to Gore.

  8. I wasn't at the time, but I'm now convinced that Biden was the best choice for Obama.

I don't know what to say about Palin, because I'm not a Republican so I don't understand what they want/need. I hate Palin as a Democrat, though.

  9. Obama didn't but McCain did...

  10. I disagree. Obama's choice was good because Biden brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the ticket. Clinton would have been good and maybe brought some female votes with her but she has to much baggage. I think that McCain's people (and I say that because I don't think McCain picked her or even agrees with the pick) picked the wrong person. It was done for only one reason, to get some female votes and I, personally, don't think it will work. I think they underestimate the female voters.

  11. Obama did

  12. I think Obama HAD to pick someone with experience.  I'm not a huge fan of Biden, but Biden isn't the main problem with that ticket, Obama is.  McCain's VP pick was a stroke of genius.
