Question:

Did Obama just lose the race for president by choosing Joe Biden instead of Hilary for his VP?

I think he will lose and we will end up with another Bush in the white house. If he picked Hilary he probably would have won. All of the Hilary supporters probably will not even vote or will vote for McCain.

What do you think?

  1. No, the more people learn about Obama, the less they like him and the less likely they will vote for him.

  2. The number of real Hillary supporters that will vote for McCain is in reality very small.  The reason for that is simple: John McCain's stand on the issues important to Hillary's supporters are antithetical to their beliefs.  Most people that supported Hillary are smart enough to know that voting for McCain would be voting against their own interests and beliefs. The few that will choose McCain are just bitter and out of touch with reality.

Regarding the posers on Yahoo claiming to be Hillary supporters voting for McCain:  don't worry, most of us know that most of you are just trolls, or Ron Paul backers lol.

In addition, polling of in the swing states demonstrated conclusively that Obama would lose far more independent votes than he would gain Hillary supporter votes if he added her to the ticket.  That is one of the primary reasons she was not asked.  Hillary is generally disliked by independents and Obama needs independents to win in November.

  3. I was hoping that he would have, but I am democrate and I'll vote for him anyways. We can't afford another 4 years with a republican in office.

I read that we set a record for the highest deficit EVER w/bush in office.

  4. He had already lost.  That is why he chose Biden to try to appeal to more independents.  Obama is in a tail-spin and after the debates, he'll be finished.

  5. Apologies if you have contempt for astrology... but from an astrological point of view it seems that Obama has not made a particularly good choice, and it would appear this his defeat in November is pretty much inevitable.

  6. Hillary supporters who vote for McCain were never Hillary supporters in the first place. Hillary completely disagrees with McCain on most issues and, further, she herself has stated repeatedly that she won't vote for McCain and that she is backing Obama. If they don't want to vote, fine...that's their right...but to completely change your mind on all the issues to vote for McCain is a bit drastic and completely undermines both Clinton's goals for the nation and what you supposedly backed hillary for in the first place.

Biden is a strong choice. He has foreign policy experience and he will balance the ticket. As much as I love Clinton, she did not balance the ticket.

  7. Biden will help Obama get the Hair Club for Men vote.

  8. I don't think it makes a difference.  His supporters will not go away and I doubt that choice gained him many votes.
