Did Obama lie when he said candidates children are "off limits?"?

It is hard to imagine all this visoral hatred of Palin's daughter here is from anything other then paid political activist from Obama's campaign.

So far I haven't seen anything from Obama's campaign about Sarah Paulin's daughter. most of it has been from the democratic party itself and the rest from activists. By the way, he said candidate's wives are off limits, not children.

Don't blame Obama for people jumping on Palin's story. Obama has nothing to do with this. The media will dig up anything juicy and they don't give a d**n who it is. People in this country read tabloid stories on a daily basis and feed off of it. You are just pissed off Palin is bringing negative publicity to the Republican club. Oh well...McCain should have done a background check before making her his running mate.

of course he lied he wanted to come out looking respectful but you know that he hopes everyone is talking about it bc he is a very conniving fool, hence the last stunt he pulled with the boy selling the "prayer" to the tabloids over seas,

Nope, it is probably from some dems but Obama has no control of that. Obama is not that kind of guy. He is a very honorable man, ok? When it got dirty between him and Clinton and Clinton was going right at him below the belt, Obama stayed with dignity and class. Barrack and Michelle are very classy people.

I don't think that it is coming from Obama's camp, but from other progressives who are trying to debunk her.  Obama's statement could be read two-fold;  one:  He doesn't want the debate to become engulfed in negativity, or two: He doesn't want to be seen as one who goes negative.
