  1. He doesn't know what he is talking about. Just another fine example of his art of illusion.

  2. I heard him say that; that he would tax them harder, but I can't cite when or where he was then.

  3. What jobs are left to outsource?

  4. No.

And if you had seen his acceptance speech on Thursady night, you'd know that.

He said that he will stop the tax breaks for those companies who do ship jobs overseas.

He said that he will give tax breaks to companies who create jobs here.

  5. As long as companies can do business cheaper overseas then jobs will continue to go overseas.

  6. Hilarious. He doesn't have the power. He says he'll 'tax' companies that go overseas. Which is impossible, because you can't tax a Chinese company. You can only tariff it. To tariff it will cause retribution on the other end. We'll get higher tariffs on our exports to China and other countries, and relations will suffer abroad. What he wants to do is push us closer in the direction of an isolationist mercantile nation, a completely non-free trade country.

I can't explain economics well to somebody who knows nothing about it, but if you look it up, you'll see why it's a horrible idea.

  7. People can provide as many links as they want. It will not solidify this statement. He may have said it, but the quote is more than likely taken out of context.

  8. yes, he said he will windfall profits tax any american company that the people hate.
