  1. it would undermine her support for Obama.....she is smart....she doesnt want to have Palin to connect to women in front of her face and on her show.....she wont give her that audience

  2. I can understand that Oprah would not want to give Palin the extra publicity that an appearance on Oprah's show would generate. I think however that it is a mistake.

Oprah can justify it on the basis that they can discuss women's issues and family issues and she can discuss issues such as the rise in teen pregnancies in the US  and s*x education in the US.

Obama was a personal friend of Oprah's from Chicago so she made an exception by campaigning for him which I didn't like because I supported Hillary.

  3. Oprah is a racist b*tch.  She claims her show will not be used as a platform for the candidates, but she's had her "messiah" on twice.  I for one, will never watch her show again.

  4. The answer is in the article:

"Here's the statement: "The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."

For the record, Barack Obama has been on "Oprah" twice -- in January, 2005 and again in October, 2006 -- before he announced his run for Prez."

  5. She doesn't have to support Sarah Palin just because she's a woman.  That'd be a stupid reason.  Maybe she disagrees with her views on firearms or abortion rights or something like that--you know, the ISSUES?

  6. Sarah Palin is the only eatable thing Oprah has said no to in her life.  And Sarah is simply delectable.

  7. Republicans say NO to Oprah!!!!

    McCain/Palin 08!!!!

  8. Oprah gives advice on relationships, but has a boy friend who is a

door mat ... gives advice on marriage, but has never been married ...

gives advice on child rearing, but has no children ... gives advice on

Obama, but was a member of Jeremiah Wright's anti-American racist

church for several years. Now, her white women's audience, which made

Oprah rich, wants to know more about Sarah Palin, but Oprah says NO

    !!!

  9. I think she should interview that creationist.  It could be an hour comedy show.

  10. Of course she doesn't stand for women. She blatantly stands for democrats and uses her show to push that agenda. She said she would gladly put Palin on the show AFTER the election despite Obama appearing twice.

  11. Oprah is a liberal hack. I don't expect her to be tolerant of opposing views.

  12. Because conservatives don't have women's rights in mind because you are sexist. The conservatives have embraced the rights of women, racial, and religious minorities.

Notice how you think being a woman means she automatically gains a vote. No, you don't vote for someone because of their s*x (that is sexist), you vote where they stand on the issues.

  13. She had obama on because he's a black politician.. duh

  14. I’m shocked!  Oprah is all about empowering women!  How un-Oprah of her!!  I mean, for me personally, Oprah kind of rubs me the wrong way, however I do like some of the things she has to say in her magazines.  Me being a fellow woman, I love how passionate she can get in motivating women and making them feel superior and strong headed.  Even if Oprah did disagree with Palin’s political views that shouldn’t be a reason that she should not go on the show.  She should just talk about her home life and being a mother and how successful she is at being a mother and discussed the daughter issue.  BUT because she is a Liberal, so says no!  What a LIBERAL WACKO as usual!

  15. To liberals, a woman isn't strong and successful unless she is a liberal.

  16. i agree, she should be on Oprah, Obama was good enough.

  17. very dissapointing. i expected better from her.

I don't care who she supports personally but to use her show for political purposes violates trust with her viewers.

  18. I think she explained why.  You guys will try to use anything and twist it. It is so sickening.

  19. If she did, its ok..

Alot of Americans are saying NO to PALIN...

The only one that WONT say no is McCain!!!   LOL!!!

    GO Oprah!!

    OBAMA 08

  20. oprah's audience has a higher percentage of liberals

why would she put someone on that would make her ratings drop?

maybe you should vote for obama to prove that you're not a racist

  21. I'm not surprised.  She said no to supporting Hillary. BTW,Oprah's mom owes thousands to some boutique.  Geez,ya think Oprah would help out mom.
