"Governor Murkowski appointed Palin Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, where she served from 2003 to 2004 until resigning in protest over what she called the "lack of ethics" of fellow Alaskan Republican leaders, who ignored her whistleblowing complaints of legal violations and conflicts of interest. After she resigned, she exposed the state Republican Party's chairman, Randy Ruedrich, one of her fellow Oil & Gas commissioners, who was accused of doing work for the party on public time, and supplying a lobbyist with a sensitive e-mail. Palin filed formal complaints against both Ruedrich and former Alaska Attorney General Gregg Renkes, who both resigned; Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine."

  1. She fought a lot of corruption in Alaska and has made enemies in Alaska for it, most are in jail though

and her husband is a fisherman.

  2. Isn't she married to an oil executive? What a crusader.

OH! My mistake; he's a production engineer, meaning......he still works for an oil company. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

  3. She is an honest woman who will be a very good Vice President and/or President.

  4. She was probably standing up because the kickbacks weren't going to  her BP oil exec husband.

  5. Yes, she did. She also took on political corruption on both sides of the isle.

You shall now receive a star. Oh, shoot, I can't give you a star yet because I've met my quota for today; but I'll hit you up tomorrow. You certainly deserve it.

  6. If we drill our Alaskan oil, wont that devalue the Dollar even more?

  7. She is indeed guilty of being possinly the only good non-corrupt politician in the world. Yes, she did all that plus and has the highest approval rating of any governor of the state.

I believe if she keeps her standards  and The McCain/Palin ticket gets the White House we may see a house cleaning get started in the Fed.

It has needed it for over two centuries.

  8. Yes, she sure did. McCain has also gone against his party when he felt he needed to. I think the two of them will be great cleaning up Washington corruption.

  9. Don't tell Obama supporters these facts.....They are just in the business of destroying this woman with their sexist attacks..

  10. Yes she did! She also vetoed the "bridge to nowhere" and she said she did not need a private jet and sold it on Ebay and put the money back in the coffers.

I am liking this HONEST woman more and more. My oh my, what will the Whitehouse look like with an honest person cutting the pork.

  11. Yes, she's another "maverick".  She wasn't afraid to confront corruption in her own party.

Her husband is not an oil executive.  He was a production operator in the  oil fields of Alaska's North Slope.

  12. yeah, the democratic governor was crooked. he is trying to get her in trouble now because she blew his career of stealing from alaska.

    you go Palin!!!!

  13. Why do people think being an hourly wage worker for British Petroleum makes Palin's husband an executive?  He also has another job as a fisherman.

  14. Yes, she did. She cleaned up the corruption and has a 84% approval rating in Alaska. She is amazing.

  15. As an Obama supporter (not an "Obamabot") I applaud Palin for going after corruption in either party, but I fail to see McCain's logic in choosing her.  His main argument against Obama was his lack of experience.  He pulled the rug out from under himself with this choice.  If he thinks that everyone who was going to vote for Hillary is going to run out and vote for him now just because his VP choice is a woman, I think he miscalculated.  Her stand on the issues is the polar opposite of Clinton's in most cases.
