Love or hate him, no one can accuse Obama of playing dirty. He refused to do it when the Clintons were hip deep in c**p slinging and he refused to call Palin on the hypocrisy of her embarassing knocked up daughter.

  1. Worse than that, she resorted to lies in neat little sound bites.

  2. She definitely went negative.  The worst part was when she, and all of the delegates, made fun of his being a community activist, actually laughed at it.  Being a community activist is the most selfless thing a person can do to try to help folks who have real needs.  So typical of the Republicans to make fun of that.

  3. Oh lord people... she was just stuffing it back in their faces about her being unqualified... :/

And I am sorry but Obama/Biden did their far share of bashing at the DNC as well... or did everyone forget that already?

  4. Yes she did.

She's following everyone else that has spoken at the convention...bash the opponent, talks nothing about themselves or the issues. Their speech content is what the opponent DOESN'T/CAN'T do instead of talking about their own accomplishments.

I agree that Obama hasn't played into the dirty stuff. The only thing he did say was about the houses. Even that was used as an analogy.

  5. The role of the VP is to be the "attack dog", hence, Palin's assertion last night that the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull is lipstick.  What you call "cheap shots", the news media on CNN called "zingers".  They were so effective that Barack Obama took the chance to respond back to her charges while the Republican convention is still going on.  This is a first.

As far as Obama playing dirty, he has employed a strategy of "good cop/bad cop" (see my reference if you do not understand) and has used negative campaigning.  Politics employs a lot of "c**p slinging" and to deny it's use and effectiveness is naive.

There would be hypocrisy in Sarah Palin's situation if she insisted that everyone else NOT have an abortion but that her daughter should.

  6. Obama knows full well that he is sitting in his glass house on this one.  Ask his mother.
