    Congress stripped the bridge stipulation (earmark) from the funding in the fall of 2007.  Here's the CNN story.

    She also supported the bridge, on the record, in 2006 - see Alaska local papers.

    Do your research, kids, before you fall in love with a former small town mayor & beauty contestant.  Fun to look at, but perhaps not to live with.

  4. Wrong, fog commander. She helped zap it when she became Gov. of Alaska. She is a great reformer and the old crowd, like Sen. Ted Stevens, are on their way out. Only a few like McCain fought earmarks and refused to play the game like Biden and most others.
