Peter Sterling was a legend, but he didn't play for Hull KR. He was a Kangaroo Legend, signed by Hull FC in the early to mid 1980s. He played scrum-half.

Peter Sterling didn't play for Hull K. R. but for their arch-rivals Hull F.C. in 1983/84 and 84/85 seasons. I support Leeds rugby league team but remember Peter Sterling as one of the best half backs I have seen in any side.
