  1. I believe so. But you have to understand that back then veterinary practices and knowledge was far less advanced and it seems that people would take more risks with their horses.

  4. cederlan... i guess if you seen the movie, then that must be fact!

    he never raced while injured in Australia, although he was shot at on the way to the Melbourne cup! he was an amazing horse some of the weights he carried to victory were phenomenal....... we won when he wasn't supposed to win!
