  1. no

  2. No what rubbish are you rambling about now ? Vamos Rafa !

  3. He pulled out of his home Tournament one year because he was ill so I guess that is retiring because the draw had already been done with him scheduled to play but he retired before the match started.

  4. What exactly is the problem with you xno1rafa ? I notice that you keep attacking people who supports Federer.

No,I don't hate Nadal at all,I absolutely agree that he's the undisputable king of clay and that he's also formidable on other surfaces,so much so that I just bought a Babolat racket in the hope that I can play like him.....however,it remains a fact that Federer is still the number one player in the world.

Grow up,show some class and keep your mouth shut.

  5. Good question. No, Federer is one of the very few players who have never retired during a match or given a walkover before a match, regardless if injured, sick or whatever. Even mononucleosis did not stop him from completing every match in the Australian Open.

EDIT: DR. D's comment about the Federer-Safin match at the Australian Open 2005. According to the Roger Federer story biography, : 'at (Federer's) post-match conference: "I can only blame myself. I gave it my best. It was a good fight between two good men and, in the end, the best man won." Federer did not reveal that he started the match with a painful left foot that became worse as the match progressed. In trying to favor the foot, he put extra stress on his back. In the fourth set, when he could have closed out the match, a pinched nerve radiated pain to his pointer finger, which adversely affected his forehand....(because of the loss, the press asked)  has Roger lost the aura of invincibility?' Dejavu.

  6. no.

  7. I remember the Australian Open 2005 semi against Marat Safin. We know in hindsight that Federer had some kind of blisters on his feet. But he just kept fighting and fighting. He's not the type to quit. He always feels he has a chance to get back in the match.

  8. no way

  9. I really started watching Federer in 2005, and as far as I've seen he has never quit during a match. Shoot he was exhausted with mono at the Aussie Open, and he still made it to the semi's, he's one of the very few players who will play no matter what odds are stacked against him, whether he's losing or not, he won't stop until match point is through.
