I was thinking about this alot and thought I wold go ahead and get your take on this.

Six men and six women convicted Scott Peterson of the first-degree murder of his wife, Laci, and the second-degree murder of the unborn baby she was carrying.

If your pro-abortion then only one human was killed.

Did he kill one or two humans?

  1. I think the answer is really the same here, regardless of your feelings on abortion.  It's two people.

Pro-life. . . pretty obvious explanation if you believe life starts at conception

Pro-choice. . . it looked quite a bit like the choice had been made that the unborn baby in question was planned to be born.  By the time it's that well-developed, I'm pretty sure the intention has been made clear and everyone knows about it.  Maybe it wasn't yet born, but it surely would have been had none of this happened.

  2. He certainly killed two human animals, but since she was not due until about 9 weeks after her murder, the fetus may not have been sentient yet. If not, according to my view, he would have only killed one human being.

The presence or absence of a human mind, consciousness, sentience, is what makes a human being, more than DNA. Others have different views.

There is no such thing as a person who is "pro-abortion".

  3. Considering the baby was pushed out of the dead body, yes he murdered two people.

    Pro-choice isn't pro abortion.

Pro-choice is just simply, not being nosy.

Laci's corpse delivered the baby after she was dead. Read the story a little bit more. She was in her third trimester.

Abortionists don't abort a baby that far along.

  4. Gotta love the feminist hypocrisy here, if a woman wants to kill her unborn child, it is okay because she should have a choice. However if a man doesn't want to be a father....

But to answer your question, it is all moot. The funniest part is how the feminists screwed themselves on this one. They whine all day about abortion not being murder, then they all wanted him to get a second murder charge for the baby. Just more typical feminist hypocrisy.

  5. Abortion is murder in my opinion. But either way there's no doubt he killed the unborn baby.

  6. First no one is pro abortion they are pro-choice meaning that they believe a women should have reproductive rights. Even though Scott Peterson was convicted I don't believe that he killed her at all.  However; if he had yes he would have killed two as she was pregnant past three months and intended on keeping the child.

  7. Life begins at conception no matter what. Only living things can grow. So yes he did kill two people.

  8. Legally, he killed two.

The pro-choicers will tell you that because she was more than three months pregnant he should have been charged with murder.  What they do not acknowledge is that numerous states have not outlawed abotion after twelve weeks, and if an abusive husband beat a woman who was ten weeks pregnant into a miscarriage they would probably want him charged with manslaughter because it was the woman's "Choice" to call it a baby.

I see where you are coming from.  I bet you won't get one straight answer from a pro-choice person to this question.

  9. I personally believe life begins at conception, so I agree with the conviction.

In cases like that, it usually depends whether the foetus is judged to be viable or not. In the UK, that's at 24 weeks, although babies have been born around 21 weeks and survived.

  10. He killed two.  Because she was 8 months pregnant.

  11. I think it's pretty obvious that two humans died. It is human right from conception. It has human DNA and human blood, and was created by the blending of two fully human cells from two humans. If anyone doubts that an unborn baby is human, they need to get a clue and pick up a science book.

However, I think that abortion supporters know that it's human. What they argue about is whether or not it is alive. Which is also patently ridiculous. Of course it's alive. Science supports this. To deny it is to bury your head in the sand of ignorance.

  12. Laci was something like 8 1/2 months pregnant.  The baby could have survived outside the womb.  He killed two people.  I am pro-CHOICE but not for late term abortions.  If you carry a baby long enough that it could live on it's own outisde the womb, abortion should not be an option. I, personally, think the choice should have to be made within the first 12 weeks.

  13. He was convicted on first degree murder with special circumstances regarding Laci and second degree murder regarding conner (unborn son). The law says he killed two people and so do I.

  14. IF he killed his pregnant wife Laci then he killed TWO people.
