  1. I wouldnt call them groupies, but Socrates definitely had a following, students followed him even in his own time, and he definitely continues to have a following to this day


  2. Groupies, no. Socrates would go and just sit on a bench. People would come to his with questions or answers and talk them with him. Try to see the truth or a better way. But groupies, definitely not

  3. This might have been possible if he were rich and handsome, but he was neither. And they wouldn't have been groupies then they would have been concubines. Throughout the ancient world men could have concubines and slave girls of any number and still consider themselves loyal husbands.
