Did Stephenie Meyer stop writing Midnight Sun? ?

Question

I was answering a question, her on Yahoo Answers about Midnight Sun so I went to SM's site to get the link.

So then I saw that on the Midnight Sun page, she wrote how upset she was that it got leaked and said "it is on hold indefinitetly." Does that mean that she's not going to continue to write it?

i think eventually she will continue writing it for herself, but wether or not it will be published.. i don't know. i believe there is still hope that she will publish it, but it might be a while. i think that if enough people show her some support like fan letters and stuff, then maybe she will award her twilighters with the book published.

It means that she's going to sulk and wait for us to feel sorry for us, then she'll start writing again. It's almost like she's TRYING to push her fans away.

I am getting tired of hearing she is sulking she is sulking. She is not sulking! If you were an artist of any sort you would understand that she isn't and that she is just upset. She had her book stolen! I mean seriously, if you had your dog stolen and put up for grabs of ebay it would feel the same way!

She will probably continue to write other books, like her Host series until she has come to terms with the fact that the book was stolen and that she can't do anything. She is being a good writer and she isn't just ruining the book. She might, may I add might finish it and publish it, but most likely from a writing stand point she will probably finish it for herself, and then maybe it 20 years she will publish it, if ever in her lifetime.

I'm pretty sure she's going to put a hold on Midnight Sun, move onto other projects. So, we don't really know when exactly it's going to be published, which is a waste, because I think all of Edward's fan girls would've bought it at midnight.

She is upset over the theft of her books and I don't blame her. I think it was sweet of her to post a LEGAL version of the 12 chapters that were linked by book pirates.

Help change her mind by reporting those that download books illegally.

At the moment she is not continuing to write anymore of it, she is deciding whether she will carry on writing the book or not.
