No he got the desired result which would have been very different had he acted like some mad Bush in a china shop.

The whole thing stinks..

For a start, those soldiers seemed to forget their training, being so relaxed in custody and happily admitting they were in Iranian waters even though they were not. Whatever happened to "Name, number and go to h**l"?

I hope they face some harsh questions back here!

As for Tiny Blair, I'm not sure pussyfoot is an adequately feeble term to describe the non-existent vigor he puts into defending England's interests either at home or abroad, in every case including this one! Politically with the EU, militarily in Iraq and Iran; he's failed to deliver anything but the picture of weakness and decline for the last ten years.

PS: The Argentines are creating grumblings again over the Falklands. It'll be interesting to see whether Tiny Blair has left our military in a fit state to push those louts back again should the need arise.
