There was a gel, stolen sway bar, and now attempts to alter the test. Do you think that had anything to do with Tony leaving?

  1. Or maybe..............just maybe, he wanted to take his career in a different direction? Maybe he wanted to be an owner/driver?

    Woah!!

  2. no hes a chevy man.

  3. The gel was Waltrip racing. The sway bar was Waltrip racing.  The Dyno test was Nationwide and only an infraction because the other teams cried that they couldn't keep up.  Please live up to the badge under your name.

  4. I think the Joe gibbs hypocrisy was part of it. It had nothing to do with this incident of course but involved all the little incidences along the way. No beer or liquor sponsors but cheat any way possible for the win. When fans complain dump the letters and emails into the trash. Gibbs was the lead in the new chevy engine development then took all the info to Toyota. It was no coincidence that Gibbs waited a year to sign with Toyota so the new chevy engine would be completed. It should be called Joe gibbs Hypocrisy.

Tony was forced to drive for Toyota when gibbs sold out and that was the biggest thing for him.

  5. Wow i kinda agree!! He had to do what was best for him!! A Chevy is the only thing that will do for Tony Stewart!! Kyle Busch had to cheat he can't win without cheating!! I hope they get him good!!

  6. he left because they couldn't tell the difference between a sway bar and a torsion bar

  7. He left because he's been handed the keys to his future. A future after his driving career ended. He went to Joe and J.D. and asked for a partial ownership or % ownership like Jeff Gordon and other top drivers have with their respected teams. When they balked and said NO WAY, he saw the hand writing on the wall and decided to leave. This cheating thing...is not A JOE GIBBS CREATED SITUATION. This cheating thing is a couple of crew chiefs wanting to keep their jobs under the continuous pressure of working for a top team. Just an opinion.

  8. 20 left 4 the cash.  as a stewart fan, I think he's making a "BIG MISTAKE"  as a driver is 1 thing, owner is another league.

  9. Great observation stinky, that has to be it. Thank goodness he's going to Haas now, a team that has NEVER been caught cheating.

Haas CNC penalized for cheating: http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=154&sid=141...

lol 18 fan, that will give him some time to think things over.

  10. I don't think he like the idea of driving a Toyota. Chev all the way.
