Yes they have, they changed the whole city, but now the makkans changed it, they done stuff there own way.

Turks were devote muslims and leaders of Islamic world. Yes, they rules over holy cities as they too were muslims. It does not matter they are Arabs or not. Later, turks become too weak and introduce many bida'h due to blind following in Deen.

Yes, Mecca and Medina were (at least nominally) under Ottoman control from 1517 until World War I. During World War I, they became part of the newly-founded Kingdom of Hejaz, which was later incorporated into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Why did Turks invade Mecca and Medina? Because these are holy cities in Islam and having these cities gave the Ottoman Empire enormous prestige and political power in the Islamic world.

How did Turks manage to overtake the Arab world? How does any empire manage to overtake great stretches of territory? Military might, diplomatic maneuvering, strategic use of resources, etc.

yes the ottoman empire took control over mecca and medina in the year 1512.

what do u mean by 'overtake the arab world?' how did turks take control of arabia? or how did turks become superior to the arab world?

they controlled arabia through military conquest and they have become better than arabia through becomming secular and improving the economy and welcomming investment and working hard.you get nowhere by reading ur koran all day and not working.you get nowhere by sitting on ur oil reserves and dressing in bedsheets while becomming fat.to the stupid poster above me,i cannot wait till the world finds an alternative fuel source and oil becomes obsolete.arabia will drift into becomming a 3rd world islamic state and public stoneings will begin,uv already banned cats and dogs in public,so ur own ur way.
