Although Hillary regularly pretends to have been for the civil rights movement she was actually a republican and 'Goldwater Girl' meaning a staunch supporter of Sen. Barry Goldwater who was a segregationist and adamently opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. (To read revealing article by Washington columnist Robert Novak Google: Hillary, King, Goldwater). Should she be allowed to go to black churches lying about her past pretending that she was for civil rights when she wasn't. She was even opposed to Lyndon B. Johnson....who she now credits for the Movement. You decide....then SHARE THE TRUTH !!!!

  1. Hillary Clinton was still in High School in 1964.

    So who cares ?

I agree Hillary would be a horrible president.

But to try and bring stuff up from high school, is getting silly.

  2. Most of the southern democrats were opposed to the civil rights act and not just those mentioned above.

  3. I don't think she lies to Black churches about her past.  Many of us, myself included, have rebellious and silly political ideas when we are very young.  As we mature and grow into adulthood, we change.

We were all opposed to Lyndon B. Johnson.  What a bumblehead he was!  To his credit, he did pass a lot of John F. Kennedy's Civil Rights ideas that Congress wouldn't pass until they felt guilty after he was killed.

The Clintons did a lot for Blacks during Bill's presidency and are generally well-liked by Blacks.  Many Blacks adore the Clintons and are working to assure her presidential win!

Why don't YOU share the truth!  Republicans have waged a never-ending war against the Clintons, have dredged every facet of their lives to find anything they could to destroy them.  How it must bother them that they could only find a tawdry affair, which happens in many marriages, including Guiliani's and McCain's.  What bitter gall it must be to see Hillary's popularity among the people!  I feel for you, but your efforts to spread your bitterness are useless.

  4. In 1957, when LBJ began working toward the civil rights movement, she would have been 10 years old.  In 1964 she would have been a junior in high school.  I know because I'm the same age as her.  She changed parties in college.  I think your point is mute.

  5. Darn , I started liking her when I read your post until I realized it can't be true since she was a minor at the time .
