I am wondering if there was some kind of party thrown for ALL the U.S. athletes that competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. If so, where/when did it take place?

  1. Do you think they all came home together on the same plane at the same time?

  2. dnt be silly.

America's winning spree is no surprise to them and this year they did c**p according to them.

  3. Most likely, individually as they returned to their home towns. It's up to the town, and the people in it, as to how they are going celebrate their home-town heroes. I'm not aware of any federally sponsored parade. Our Federal Government doesn't seem to care too much about the Olympics in general. They always have had WAY to much more important matters to worry about, and they aren't really even stellar at getting that done.....

  4. No.

  5. no way, why would they give a parade for coming 2nd! besides the people that didnt win a medal is probably in one of those secret torture prisons in america being tortured by slaves of the bush regime!

  6. No.  We're not as into the Olympics as other countries seem to be.  I've read about hometowns of some of the athletes having celebrations for their medalists, but there has never been a big celebration of all of the athletes.
