Did USPS loose my package?

I checked my tracking number thingy and it said it arrived here in Gainesville 5:44am. I waited no package delivered. So I call up the main post office and they tell me that they dont have it. Then I check my tracking nu mber again and It says it was delivered at 1:00PM. Still no package??? WTF is going on did they delivered to the wrong address? I didnt ensure my package from ebay. SO will the postoffice reinbursh me or something?

Call, or go to, your closest post office, and ask if they can help you.

Perhaps they can look at the records of the Mail Carrier that had your package, on his or her route, and can ask the carrier about it.

It arrived in Gainsville probably at the plant, not the local post office .You don't mention which one your dealing with . It will show up It was scaned at the larger plant and will show up at your lacal office the next day

Sounds like it was delivered to the wrong address.  If it wasn't insured they won't reimburse you.  That's the chance you take when you don't insure it.  It probably got left at some house close to yours.  If you want to avoid insuring it, you could require a signature or have it delivered to the post office next time so that you pick it up at the post office.  For an expensive book I bought recently the sender required a signature and I picked it up at the post office.

I'd ask about it ASAP.  The postman for that route might recall where they dropped it off if you're lucky or they might be able to tell you where it possibly could have gotten dropped off.
