Did Vanars really existed as shown in the Ramayan ?

Did the half monkey-half human creatures like Hanuman and Sughriva really existed during the time of Lord Rama or is it just a imaginary character?If yes,why do they don't exist anymore and do you have proof for your answer...???

May be the vanars are different sub species from Humans. Lord Rama is from Homo sapiens .There are different other human species and sub species who evoluted late or who got extinct...

I think vanar and bhalu were some types of tribes . as  hindi novelist acharya Chatursen wrote in his famous novel Vayam Rakshama that all these were tribes

. rakshash and dev were also human beings . rama katha is not imaginatory although in ramayan some stories were added to glorify ramas character . Ramachanderji was super human . study kamban , valmiki ramayan and their comparision done by , Rajgopalcharyaji .

Vanars realli existed as shown in Ramayan. Once they had finish with the War in the Lanka. Lord Rama had committed that I will give you authority to stay at my Dham (Vaikuntha).

Lord Rama was presence in approx 18 million years ago. It may be the case that after these many years they dont exist anymore.

And there is no proof as such. if you believe in Existence of Lord Rama as written in Ramayana then you have to believe in existence of this.

No they did not exist . the whole concept is imaginary trying to instill faith in humans about good Vs evil and good wins over evil. But sadly people have taken it to b true that is bcoz the whole concept was lost in transition and eventually ramayan became an episiode of a gods avatar. there are many flaws in ramayan and i believe sita was suppresed over rama coz even though she was the one who accompanied rama to the forests and wen she was kidnapped by ravan, rama went after him and brought her back with the help of  half monkey- half human creatures and suddenly she is being made to jump in pyre to prove her innocence??? huh too good to have happnd in reality. Guys my Mom and dad are hindus but i do not believe in anything else so plz do not give negative comments on other religions , Im called as a hindu by others but there is no religion for me.

i think yes. as u read in science,, may be some evolutionary forms. but as far as i know hanuman is in Himalayas doing meditation. he is a chiranjeevi that is he is immortal. i really do not have a proof. but i believe in it.
