  1. He wanted to go as soon as they didn't qualify for Europe - he wasn't pushed

  2. Villa are a bigger club than Rangers and play in a better league-it was a no brainer for ugly Betty-he jumped before he got pushed out for the money.Minty is a joke!!

  3. Bit of both. Any club that comes in with a half decent bid for ANY player rangers will except it

  4. Cuellar is bigger than Rangers or so HE thinks. It is his guff about wanting International recognition that irks the Rangers fans. He is never going to play for Spain unless he manages to get to Real Madrid or Barcelona soon. I think he just worked his ticket and it's a tidy wee bundle off the Rangers debt mountain.

I thought Cuellar was a very good player and he may do well at Villa but he will not be in the Champions League any time soon but then neither will Rangers.

  5. I think that Cuellar's agent was told to test the water.

  6. Villa were on the look out for a decent centre half as they are preparing for Gareth Barry to go. Martin Laursen will fit into Barrys position behind the midfiels and Cuellar should slot into his position. and Villa should still be as strong

Really, when Rangers fluffed it against Kaunas thats when they sealed Cuellars move away, they only have themselves to blame.

  7. Martin only bought him to weaken Rankers title challenge... just the same as Souness only bought all your c**p to help pay the Ibrox debt...

  8. to be honest i think it was a bit of both...i think the first half decent offer and he was off..he said he wanted european football and get recognition from the spanish manager..pfft..villa aren't exactly setting the place alight themselves are they ..
