Who thinks that if America and Britain, helped by the people of the Empire, hadn't beaten the Germans from the west then the Commies would have marched through Berlin to the coast of the Bay of Biscay?

That's a good point Red Fool but I only asked if it defeated either ideologies rise in Western Europe, not the ideology itself, does beg the question as to what would have been truly worse, the n***s and their hatred of minorities, or the communists and their hatred of everyone who didn't conform?

  1. The n**i would have been the worse of two evils with no choice, your question is a good example of Hobsons choice.

  2. That is a interesting Question.

Well Germany took out a large part of Russia's Military in their march too Moscow. But Under Estimated the Russian Winter. This helping hand from God (if you will) gave the Russians the advantage and they were able too drive the n**i's back too Berlin. Now another problem that arrogance gave Hitler. Was fighting a war on 2 Fronts, against the World. So it might have been possible for Germany too defeat Russia Without Allied involvement (Kicking His Bottom!) would be my guess. As a added Bonus, German Soldiers were High on Crank/Meth! Another great invention from the labs of n**i Germany! Thank you Adolf!

    Better Dead then Red!

    President Obama!

  3. so what, all thatis done and gone. lets just move on and talk about getting together. i am looking for a good man and you might be the one. lets see what happens when i rock your world. you just stay home and let latonya take care of you.

  4. In every Black white Asian and jews heart beats the heart of a n**i, maybe not a true n**i but its a uniformed ideal.

  5. Neither. It consolidated and absorbed them both.On the surface it would be naziam of course. But history bears out the fact that Socialism in many forms flooded the world from East to West since 1945.It's just that commUNism is not a word used in the mainstream anymore.

  6. Well considering the Communists fought 4/5 of the n**i Army and the better trained 4/5 then I doubt one more 1/5 would have made a difference.

  7. I don't think the ideology changed at all.

If anything, at the end of the war there were many people in western Europe that were empathetic of socialism; without the Marshall Plan most would have gone that way probably.

Regarding what is worse, it is Nazism. The communism coming from the Soviet Union was not communism at all. It was a twisted form based on Stalinism (yes, his own personality cult). That system would be debatable equal with Nazism. Most of Eastern Europe was not Stalinist though; they implemented sound communist principles.

  8. we should have let nazism and communism have it out between them, and be done with both

we ended up with a strong ussr, that could have got us all killed in the cold war

  9. Nazism

  10. The only winners of WW2 were the Russians and Americans.Everyone else were losers, especially Britain.

The German army was crushed by the red Army steamroller and if Stalin had the mind to conquer the rest of Europe he could have done so.If 130 divisions of the best trained and equipped army in the world couldnt defeat the Soviets then the western allies would have been powerless.

In my opinion, eastern and central Europe were certainly worse off in the hands of the Soviet Union.Germany democratically elected Hitler and worshipped him from gaining power until the day Germany was defeated. No one voted for Stalin and no one cared for the brand of communism he forced upon his subjects.

Naizism is often misunderstood due to wartime propaganda and the privilege of the victors to write history as they see fit.

Whatever the shortcomings of the n***s,nothing can come close to the misery, oppression, brutality and lack of freedom suffered by All communist bloc countries for 50 years following the war.

Hitler calculated that the allies may join his forces at the final moments to defeat the greater evil of the Soviets. He calculated wrongly.Quite possibly, the west didnt have the stomach or resources available in the region to stop the Red Army.Indeed, the fact that Stalin was to effectively take all he wanted from eastern Europe against the wishes of the remainder of the "big three",proved beyond doubt who was holding all the aces.

Finally, may I point out that the allies were not fighting Nazism or fascism in Europe. They were fighting Germany and its allies.Nazism had existed in Germany since Hitler rose to power in 1933 and fascism had existed in Italy for much longer. No one boycotted the Berlin Olympics of 1936 so clearly there was little opposition until the outbreak of war.

Allied propaganda dehumanized the enemy by rallying troops to a cause of defeating an ideology rather than a civilized European people.
