Did WWE creative plan the HBK/Y2J feud perfectly or were they lucky?

In my opinion considering the huge mess WWE creative makes sometimes I think they were lucky that this feud contained two of the best workers of all time who are continuing to make the rivalry work. There are few people other than those two other than maybe Taker and Edge who can flawlessly pull off a feud as they have done so far.

You know, I think it was in the right time at the right place. When you put a veteran like Shawn Michaels in there with a solid worker like Jericho, your bound to get a show. Besides they already had a feud back in 2003 and it worked perfectly, makes sense it's near perfection now.
