  1. He coached the Canberra Raiders to the Grand Final in 1987.

Prior to that, he coached South Brisbane in the QRL

  2. Awesome, another stupid question from a stupid person.

He didn't coach in the AFL... Been in the NRL all his career...

  3. In short the answer is no. But I suspect you already knew that anyway & were just stirring to see what reaction you would get. Unless maybe there was a VFL/AFL player running around with the same name back then, and you're new to NRL & don't know any of it's history, in which case I apologise for my stirrer comment. Mitch & Dropkick's answers are spot on. Re. Brothers they were a club in the brissy comp prior to the inception of the NRL, just about every town or city in Qld had a brothers team in their comp, name comes from the Christian Brothers who were a teaching brotherhood in the Catholic school system.

  4. wtf r u ok...

  5. no you idiot, hes never been involved with the afl, and no NRL player or coach would ever swap codes to AFL

bennet played wing for past brothers and ipswitch, he played for queensland 7 times and also represented australia, then became one of the best coaches ever
