  1. i really love wimbledon, the most interesting tourney to watch.

i'm surely miss it. but there will be also other tourneys. US Open and Masters Cup will be interesting to watch also :)

but now i'm extremely happy since nadal won 2008 wimbledon :D

  2. My friend was consumed also, but I don't think he is sad. No way. ; )

  3. No I wasn't consumed but my friend was. Sad, noooooo! ; ) x

  4. Of course I am soooooooo sad. (not)

I'm glad my friends friends are back, haha.   ; ) x

  5. Yeah it did "consume" me for two weeks, but I don't feel sad.  Why feel sad?  There'll be another Wimbledon next year, and plenty of tennis in between.

  6. i totally agree, within the two weeks u feel apart of something big and it really does feel like summer! but when it ends. You think about how u have to wait another year to see what happens. Also the s  hi t weather does not help. If it was nice, sunny u totally forget.

  7. Well you should be like me and get prepared. Withdrawal symptoms are inevitable. To conquer this, I have hours of footage I've recorded from the tournament to watch. All thanks to BBC Interactive!!

  8. yea, it just seems like there is nothing happening in the world anymore. can't wait for the new premier league season and the olympics. i'm definitely looking forward to the US open. wait a minute did it talk about the Open golf, ryder cup. common i can go on and on and on. i just which they occured one after the other.

  9. A friend was consumed,but no, I wasn't. Feeling sad, no, I'm glad they're back.

  10. Yeah its boring here now...no tennis, no footie...

  11. I've often found after Wimbledon there is a great, sort of, emptiness. When the end credits were rolling after the final with all the BBC staff being listed I found myself thinking 'Oh, it's really finished.... what do I do now'

Just remember there are tennis events going on all the time for the pros, this week there are 4 tournaments, next week there is some more and it's not long before the ATP masters in America start, which should get some tv coverage. Then the US Open which I'm told is going to be on Sky Sports Extra. Olypics too soon. So there is plenty of Tennis coming our way but I do understand it's not the same as Wimbledon. Something in our own country is really nice to have.

    Ahh well...

    349 days to go!

  12. Yep, I'm distraught - back to RTV, I guess!!!

  13. Yeah, got really engrossed in it and now that it's all over, it's all kinda flat and depressing.  The Federer / Nadal final was fantastic - so glad Rafa won in the end :)

  14. TOTALLY! Your the first person that understands how i feel! People keep saying that there's lots of tennis later but i'm sure that I'm gonna see it cuz' I live in Egypt and if anyone knows if it's going to be aired here PLZ tell me.

    VAMOS RAFA! <3<3

  15. No,I have no interest in tennis. It just messes the tv schedule up.

  16. Yes it did indeed!! I feel a little bit sad but i know there will be one next year and the hard court season is coming and theres lots more to look forward to!!

And also i learnt a lot this wimbledon and it gave me great inspiration as i was injured last week and had to pull out if a tournament because of it and it was something inspiring to watch on tv!!

Did wimbledon consume your 2 weeks??? are you sad:(??

    :)!!

  17. It is incrediblly depressing on the Monday after Wimbledon.l always notice the nights are lengthening afterwards. The peak has come and gone and it's the slow death to the shortest day.We need a masters series tornament indoor in winter to cheer us up

  18. Yeah, nothing to watch on TV now :'-(

    I'll miss Rafa lol
