Well it's probably a nice place to go for a holiday now that the press have stopped trying to dig up stories.

Wherever that kid is, I think it's a safe one to say she's not there. Not unless she's in a shallow grave. Fact is, it's probably had more tourists as a direct result.

I have been to Praia da Luz (the Beach of Light) twice and that was a couple of years before the McCann tragedy.

and why exactly does this matter? what happened there was not the first case of a child being snatched nor will it be the last.anyone remember about poor little ben needham who was taken from his granparents garden in greece? his case had very little or no coverage and he has never been found.this was over 10 years ago.it can happen anywhere and to anyone but if you ask me leaving 3 toddlers unsupervised just to go for a meal is completely selfish and i can almost guarantee that if it were just an everyday person like myself,a 24 year old single mum, then the remaining children would of been taken into care and we would of been prosecuted for neglect but it appears as the people in question were high flying doctors then they are above the law the rest of us are bound by.
